(elly) It's def unique whenever someone who's as successful as Sully remembers specific people, but that just shows how dedicated & loyal he is to his fans and to his craft, he is truly one of the last great artists out there in the music industry.
(JsMackinM) That's friggin' awesome, they're always up for giving the fans a good time. This past July they came through the 'Burgh for Mayhemfest, and in the middle of the set Sully was talkin' about something and he completely f***ed his sentence up and just started crackin' up on stage, followed by "Yeah man...that's what 5-7 shots of tequila will do to ya, man I'm feelin goooood!" It was great, that was an awesome show too, they totally outplayed everyone else on that tour.

at Q-Ruption in Saratoga Springs last summer, Sully popped open a Corona and made some guy flat out chug the entire thing in the front row. then later on when they played "I Stand Alone" he pulled 5 or 6 girls up on stage. Awesome night!

Haha, that's awesome, yeah he def remembers familiar faces (much like my buddies and I, lol, who've been to every 'Smack show that's come close to Pittsburgh). My best 'Smack concert memory was when they were here on the IV Tour back in '06, it was them & Shinedown (awesome show!), and during his "Whatever" speech, there was a man who was in the row down from my friends & I who was SITTING for the entire show...yes, SITTING through the entire 'Smack show! Sully looked straight up at him and asked the lighting techs to point the spotlight straight on him, and they did! He then said "Dude...why the f##k are you here?!" The guy just shrugged, to which Sully said "I can't stand people like that, you paid to be here, why are you sitting?!" The guy flipped him off....he flipped off Sully! At that point, Sully had the guy shine the spotlight on the row above that guy (my friends and I) and he said "Can you guys hear me?!" We screamed like hell, he said " me a favor, when this song kicks back in, I want you to get in that guys face, and f###in' scream until your veins are poppin' out of your neck, make him understand WHY THE F##K we are here!!!" The crowd went NUTS, and sure enough when the song kicked in, we screamed at that guy so hard that we made him stand his ass up. Best concert moment of my life :)

Personally for me, as Sully did his talking during Whatever...ok two things.
1.) He mentioned that it was great to see familiar faces from his Avalon tour (that means ME!!!) (and yes lol I guess some other people)
And at the M&G, he remembered me!! That was awesome! Never expected him to remember ME for all the people he meets.
2.) During Whatever.....he DIDN'T say....get so goddamn loud they can hear you in New York F*cking City!!! he DIDN'T say that!!!! There was NO New York F*cking City!!!!!!!
LOVED the show, Sully was sick but you would never know, They really rocked it! Awesome memories!
