Delicate wisdom begs To resonate from her speaking lips, To be carefully poured Into ranges of basins, Imploring desired listeners, And sent with Godless prayers in feverish wantings of reception. The thickened drops descend and splatter like vermillion blood, Clotting and saving, And scabbing deeply Before a foolish hand picks them away. The fresh wound takes refuge in yet...

Ah…December 16th brought me the tic-toc sound of a yearly pendulum striking 16. It’s weird how people get so obsessed with the idea of turning a certain age, but then when you actually do, it really doesn’t seem all that special. Sure I can LEGALLY drive now, but other than that, what’s the major significance? So anyway, I went to school and I, being the dorkling that I am, had a...

SO WHO WANTS TO EXPERIMENT WITH ME?! (HA! I knew that would get your attention….) In my Advanced Bio. Theory class we were given until May to design and conduct our own experiments using whatever we want. We could use people, animals, plants, or even just ourselves, but it has to be legal and humane. (Way to take the fun out of things, right?) Well, because I LOVE everything about music, I...

Brisk mornings in autumn are so rejuvenating. I lied, mornings in general are just awesome. My bed was warm with its trillion blankets and pillows that all trap my body heat, and the air around me was chilled enough for me to see my breath. When I wake up, I like to lay a while and think about things before I actually GET up: it’s just the time to do so because it’s in-between slumber’s...

Like a swarm of maggots that inhabit a victim of death, they feed on your attentiveness with an unfulfilled hunger that begs satisfaction, but never receives such mercy. Blood, so ruby and vermillion has bound itself to the confines of earth's hellish soils. It pours freely from the blistered lips of those who were forsaken, and is renewed by guillotine eyes that cut and stab through even the...

July 29th brought me my first REAL concert with Disturbed, Godsmack, Trivium, Megadeth, and a couple up and coming bands at Mayhem Fest. I saw Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, Escape The Fate, Hell Or Highwater, Art of Dying, and a few other awesome bands at Uproar Fest on September 16th. I met them all too! AAAHHH!! IT WAS AMAZING!

People fascinate me, they truly do. You have the children: refusing to listen, willing to compromise (well, most of the time), eager to gain knowledge, and constantly giving you reasons to look at things differently and think, "Why DOESN'T this matter?", and you will find more often than not that they teach you more than you could teach them. Children think, they listen, they believe. Why can't...

This title may not seem to make sense, but it does. Sometimes we are faces with difficult life choices and confrontations. Almost everybody tries to just "logout", but seldom ever actually resolve a conflict. These conflicts are both inside and out. Let me share something: I have one of the worst cases of stage fright that is humanly possible. I love to be on stage, but there is always a...

Everything happens. It may not affect you or your world, but it does happen somewhere, maybe in a place that's out of this planet. I just don't see how people can walk past someone or something and think it's okay. If you see a starving child or animal, what do YOU do? If you find out that a friend has made a poor choice, do you try to help or leave him or her be? There are so many things that...

Have you ever wondered about just the dumbest things ever? Well, imagine that...ALL THE TIME! Honestly, if you say something I can relate it to something else in nearly anyway. For example, juice. I was getting a glass of lemonade, (remember; a ROUND-ABOUT way), and I started thinking about juice. I realized that it makes sense to say 'purple orange juice', (purple being the adjective to...
