Remembering Josh Eisner "J-Rock"
After hearing the tragic news of my friend Josh's passing, I would personally like to send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. As a man who has met and hung out with Josh on numerous occasions over the years, I know I am not alone in saying how much he will be missed in this world, and how many fond memories he has blessed us all with in his too short life on this planet. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this; see you on the other side Josh - I will miss you my friend.
~ Shannon

Josh was a longtime Godsmack fan at the age of 14 yrs old. He was an aspiring drummer who looked up to Shannon as both a mentor & for inspiration. He got to know the guys in the band and crew throughout the years and attended many Godsmack shows. RIP Josh, your amazing spirit will be kept alive through the gift of music and all of us who got to know you. You were a very special young man with so much talent to share. On behalf of the whole Godsmack crew, family & fans, you will be greatly missed, but NEVER forgotten.

From my perspective, Josh's wake was was going on right under the blue sky about 4 miles away. I'm so grateful that Josh's mom Robyn got to see this gift from her son.

We were at Josh's wake tonight and there was a super vibrant double rainbow right over the church. Literally the brightest rainbow I've ever seen. I think this was josh blasting down on us that he is OK.
Rock in Peace Josh.

I was Josh's new neighbor and was very hesitant about having a drummer living next to me. That feeling was quickly dashed when I heard him play for the first time while working outside my house. He was exceptionally talented and have a impressive range of music that he poured himself into. My toddler son started to really get into hearing Josh play, so much so that he was playing "air drums" in the car and asking me if a particular song on the radio was "Rock-n-Roll". I will miss his drum sessions and how much I enjoyed how they made yard work more pleasant. My family will miss having such a gifted young musician only a few feet of grass away from us. Rest in peace Josh.

The one and only time I seen Joshua was on the Robert Richardson Petition Site. After I signed, I watched the video ....in hesitation of course because I knew it would be heart breaking. The one person who touched me the most was Joshua. He had a heart of gold, I could see that shine through his actions and words instantly. Being the young man he was, he demonstrated a wealth of life experiences, it was obvious in his short time here. He will leave a mark on many peoples hearts, no matter how young or old, whether you personally knew him or just watched him from afar. Heaven gained an angel that is for sure.
God Bless Joshua and his family. I pray you will find peace.
