Site Suggestions, that we are waiting on replies
We've been posting and checking for replies but nothing so far......
- Can you add, to show who is on line - this would be great to see, a lot of other sites have it
- Can you add more emoticons - we will use them, we really will and can you fix the ones you have now....we can't get to all of them, comes up a long list but you can't get to the last few.
- Can there be another contest...for everyone to enter, not just (sorry) people in the US (and I don't think it was ever posted, who won the signed CD way back when)
- Can you change the points to something else (Karma worked well, I know it's from the old place, but it was more "exciting" than just plain points)
Love this site, it's got a good feel to it

Well the issue is all those things need to be handled internally within the site. Which needs to be done via the Ground ctrl crew who built the site. My control panel view lets me add/edit stuff to the news, pics, video, links.... etc. When I asked them about being able to make new main topic threads, I was told it had to be done internally. The only access I have, within the actual forum, is to deleted thread posted (If needed), access to members and to remove them (If needed) and posting regularly. I can, however, see if they would be so kind as to add a few more main sections here for us... if I can't do it myself.
I didn't build this site so I can't log into it internally like Sully's site and change the coding. Sully's site I help to build and am the only one who really goes into it internally unless I need someone to. It is a different kinda site in in the fact that it doesn't have a control panel people can access. I log in in directly through Dreamweaver and make edits directly within it.
If that makes sense ..

Wade answered me. for the emoticons... check my browser, I might need to update it. He sees them all. And he didn't really comment on the rest of our asks...or my asks.

Has anyone else noticed in the last 48 hours that the site has been going through brief periods where it's slow, freezing or unavailable?

Yep. It's sporadically happening at work, home and also on my phone too.

Maybe just updating or something. Sometimes I have issues logging in on the control panel end.

Phew....and here I thought it was me or phone yesterday, when I kept getting that annoying"HTTP 404 ERROR" each time I tried pulling up site.
On another note.....will the designers ever consider creating a GS app, similar to the RHCP app and others? Just a thought.......from a techno challenged Windows phone user.

I kept getting a box from my antivirus software to download the file whenever I tried to open the site yesterday.

Yep, I was getting those same error messages as well.
I ended up messaging Dom via FB and she replied that all was good on her end, but it took nearly an hour before I could get back online. I was even using my wireless router, in case the web signal was the problem....but it didn't help either.
