The WALK is this weekend (October 26-28)!!

And I have the greatest news!! Well, great to me...and I think you all will agree.

I received a call on Friday letting me know that I have been selected to carrying the "Honoring My Mother" flag in both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies!! A friend had nominated and I filled out a questionnaire, but thougth all positions had already been filled. I kept seeing others post about flags they were selected to carry. I was totally surprised by the call on Friday. I just hope I can keep it together and not fall apart on stage.

    Fabulous news! You'll be fine on stage, just go with it, beem with pride, shed a few tears, it's all good.
    You've done a great job this year, collecting and sharing it all.

    My husband and nephew will be on the Route on Sunday and I've asked him to drive along with me and play some of my music! I don't get to hear much of my style out there; he can be my personal Walker Stalker! I can have a music player with speakers, but due to safety concerns, no ear buds/phones.

    I do hear some fun stuff, but if I want to hear WALK, it's just me singing it...I've done that a few times.

    been super crazy busy, only here for a quick minute...got the sweets and a card from Elly. Any other cards that didn't make it to me should be sent back to the send.
    Fantastic weekend, just haven't had time to stop by here...dove right back into work on Tuesday...buried since. UGH
