Saratoga Performing Arts Center - PIT area

Has anyone been to a show here or better yet been in the PIT? I have a choice of a PIT ticket or a seat, I have been in the PIT before at other venues. I have never been to SPAC. I am trying to gauge how crowded the PIT will be , is there moshing, crowd surfing, etc. I don't mind being in the PIT, I love being up close, but I would like just enjoy the music and not have to worry about people landing on me , etc , etc.

Since this is a state park and they seem to run a tight ship there (for example no alcohol on grounds, portrayed as family friendly) , I am hoping this leans towards a PIT that is not totally crazy.

    why are you putting "pit" in capitals?

    I haven't been to a Godsmack show but I've heard their pits may be a bit busy.. its a pit after all.. I'd hang back to the middle or back section of the floor, if you don't feel like being pushed around.

    This PIT was perfect. Not too crowded, enough room to get away from the madness and a minimal amount of assholes.
