Rocky Mountain Way ---- one of the 4 covers

What do you think? I'll have to hear it a few more times...
Being from Canada, a band Triumph covered that song, many years ago. That is what I think of when I hear Rocky M Way. Not the Joe Walsh version.
And send to 5 friends and unlock Changes... live... hehe, Sully talking at the end... love that. wooooo! oh now it's Detroit F*cking Michigan..... but i'm still missing New York F*cking City

    I'm not too keen on it right now; the original didn't do too much for me.
    I didn't know Triumph covered it back in the day. I liked their sound...loved Magic Power!

    I think its great, has the Godsmack flair to it. The song is already on YouTube. Someone commented there that Godsmack could cover a Justin Beiber song and it would be great, haha, I have to agree with that.

    I've listened to it a few more times and yeah I'm wondering why this song? It's good...but not the greatest thing since sliced bread. Guess I'll keep listening to it. I like it but am not OMFG over it. Looking forward to the other 3....

    Unfortunately I have to agree. I respect their choice but I can't shake the feeling that I want to like it more than I actually do. It just feels a little too bar band for my taste. The first 10 seconds are blistering though.

    well said. I'm requesting it on the radio for support and still hoping if i hear it enough it will really grow on me.

    BUT i'm thinking Steven Tyler's (it) feels so good. THAT NEVER GREW ON ME...bleck!

    I have been harassing all of the Southern Ontario rock stations, particularly 97.7 HTZ FM. I think their music director Paul Morris is growing weary of me. (he actually probably hates me) I got on his case pretty bad a couple of years ago for only playing Cryin' Like A Bitch late at night. Maybe I should post his email address here... lol! As far as I know they haven't picked Rocky up yet. They did play Whiskey Hangover last week though on the 5 o'clock teaser.

    I still have yet to hear Rocky Mountain Way on the radio in Toronto. I guess 97.7 is too hung up on crappy Tragically Hip songs to notice. grrrrr.

    I listen on line.... try KILO - I requested it yesterday again and they gave a shout out to me.,,,, to our listener in Toronto, yes Canada who listens on line. "elly" this is for you.,, Godsmack Rocky Mountain Way and then they talked about the new one coming and the Mass tour, In the morning they usually play Keep Away. They always play Godsmack, And I love that they gave me a shout out....

    I have heard the song a couple of times on SiriusXM, on the OCTANE channel.

    The song is a good change of pace and makes you look forward to the rest of the new covers.

    I heard it the other nite on Youtube & it sounded so awesome. It had a heavy sound to it. It's the best remake they ever done since " Good Times, Bad Times." Will they do more remakes? I think it's really cool!

    That is so crazy that you listen to 94.3 KILO Elly. We lived in Co Sprgs forever ago... and they played the crap out of Godsmack all the way back then in 1998-99-2000. Co Springs where I first saw them and stalked Sully at his hotel bar. Kilo has been my favorite radio station since. :-)
