Just thinking...

Thu, Jun 5, 2014 at 1:47 PM

I just listened to a interview Sully did, he called into a radio station as he was on the way to the studio. They talked about the teaser single 1000hp. He was then saying he wasn't really into it all until they all got together and started with the new stuff and now he's really excited about it all, can't wait to play the new stuff.
Next year they celebrate 20 years as a band and 16 with a label.
I wonder how long they will be together... how much more will Sully do? He sounded tired of touring and belting it out. He always goes on about being older and still belting out the heavy tunes.

Maybe he'll give it up next year...

don't say that, you need to reel that right back into your mouth. The world would be a sad place

I know but if his hearts not in...

There comes a time when bands retire though. I'm sure he'll still be musically doing something just not GS heavy songs. You know like Rod Stewart did.

Sully has been in the game a long time. Maybe he would like to explore other avenues of life. He certainly deserved it and the fact that he could stand alone proven by his awesome Avalon album. That music blew me away. Anyone can create rock but I think that album showcased his true talent.
Every precious moment that slips by, is a gift that we don't embrace together.
