how the heck do you delete the messages in the sent folder and the deleted folder? There has to be a way to get rid of them? drives me crazy :)

    There isn't any unfortunately. I am not sure if they eventually get cleared from trash over time or not. Someone from Ground CTRL will have to chime in on that.
